Location

The main campus is located at Hisar in Haryana on Maharaja Agarsain Marg (National Highway No.10) between latitude 29.10°N and longitude 75.46°E. Hisar is about 170 Km North West to New Delhi. The Centre is situated at a distance of about 4 km on Sirsa Road from the Bus Stand and about 6 km from the Railway Station, Hisar. The Sub-Campus (Equine Production Campus) is located at Jorbeer, Bikaner in Rajasthan between latitude 28.01°N and longitude 73.22°E. Both Hisar and Bikaner are well connected to New Delhi by road and rail routes. Location

Academic Institutions Around

Hisar
In close proximity to NRCE main campus, a number of academic, research and development organizations are located. Linkages with these institutions lead to mutual benefit in terms of academic upliftment, achievement of goals and strengthening of scientific knowledge through sharing of the technologies. These include two state-owned universities namely Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (CCS HAU) and Guru Jambeshwar University of Science and Technology (GJUST), Central Institute for Research on Buffaloes (CIRB), a species specific institute under ICAR devoted to research for upliftment and betterment of Buffaloes, Central State Farm, State-owned Government Livestock Farms, Central Sheep Breeding Farm and Equine Breeding Stud, A Ministry of Defence set up responsible for breeding of equines.

Bikaner
Near Equine Production Campus (NRCE), National Research Centre on Camels (NRCC) is located which is a species oriented institute under ICAR for research on Camels.
